Under 16s Basketball
Our under 16’s compete in the Girls North Premier Division of the National League, competing against the top programs in the country. Wildcats, a perennial power with recent trips to the national cup final and consistently qualify for the playoffs.
Training takes place at the purpose built Wildcats Arena on Monday 6:00-8:00pm and Thursday 6:00-7:30pm. Players have the opportunity to experience elite level coaching and work alongside some of the top basket players in the country. In recent times Junior players have represented regional and national teams, while also being afforded the opportunity to train with the WBBL team.
Here at the Wildcats, you can also expect a safe environment in which you will feel comfortable and confident to make mistakes and take risks. All Coaches and Team Managers are DBS checked and hold ‘Child Safeguarding Certificates’, in line with Basketball England (governing body) regulations. They have experience working with young people your age and enjoy working within this age group.
