Nottingham Wildcats run several teams to compliment their development program, starting from Mini-Ballers all the way to the WBBL team. Currently we run a program that introduces children to basketball where we have two mini-baller teams made up of boys and girls aged 7-12. The mini-ballers program teaches the fundamental basketball skills while maintaining the focus of fun.
Once children reach 14 years old, boys and girls separate with the boys typically moving to the Nottingham Hoods with the girls staying with the Nottingham Wildcats and joining the development program.
The development program starts with the Under 14’s moving through to the Under 16’s and finishing with the Under18’s with the potential to move to WBBL level possible.
