London Lions’ Temi Fagbenle and Manchester Giants’ Georgia Anderson will captain the South and North squads for first-ever Women’s All-Star Game.

The full rosters for the first-ever Women’s British Basketball League All-Star Game have now been confirmed ahead of a landmark moment for the game on Sunday March 17 at London’s Copper Box Arena. 

The All-Star Game sees the South take on the North in a showdown to showcase the entertaining skills, talent and excitement within the Women’s British Basketball League. 

The full roster for each team can now be confirmed:

Women’s All-Star South Roster:

How were the Women’s British Basketball League All-Star starters determined?

Starters for the 2024 British Basketball All-Star Game were selected by fans across the globe via an online vote. Fans voted for a player of their choosing in each position for the South and North teams respectively, and the players in each position with the most votes were placed in the starting fives. 

How were the clubs in the British Basketball League split between South and North?

The North roster consists of players from the B. Braun Sheffield Hatters, Caledonia Gladiators, Durham Palatinates, Manchester Giants and Seriös Group Newcastle Eagles. 

The South roster consists of players from the Cardiff Met Archers, Essex Rebels, Leicester Riders, London Lions, Nottingham Panthers and Oaklands Wolves. 

Due to there being 11 clubs in the Women’s British Basketball League, each coach received six reserve picks to ensure a player from each was selected. 

How were All-Star reserves determined?

The Head Coaches of the North and South rosters chose the reserves and were required to select one player from each team in the League, ensuring every club is represented at the All-Star Game.

When is the 2024 British Basketball League All-Star Game?

The 2024 British Basketball League All-Star Game will take place at London’s Copper Box Arena on Sunday, March 17th, 2024. The Women’s game tips off at 12:30, ahead of the Men’s game at 15:30. A slam-dunk competition and three-point contest will also feature between the two games, as well as the presentation to the inaugural entrants to the League’s Hall of Fame.
