Oaklands Wolves, Sevenoaks Suns, Newcastle Eagles and Nottingham Wildcats all picked up Championship points away from home.

Oaklands began the day’s action with a hard-fought 75-73 victory, on the road, against BA London Lions. Anneke Schlueter led the visitors with a game-high 22 points.

Elsewhere, Sevenoaks maintained their perfect record and position at the top of the standings by beating Cardiff Met Archers 74-59 in Wales. Cat Carr did a bit of everything for the away team, netting 22 points to go along with 10 rebounds and seven assists.

A stunning fourth quarter comeback saw Newcastle run out 83-68 winners against Manchester Mystics. Georgia Ohrdorf’s 25 points and 12 rebounds proved key for the travelling Eagles.

Nottingham concluded proceedings by claiming a 71-66 win over Essex Rebels – to keep their title bid firmly on track – thanks to the play of Jasmine Joyner. The star forward poured in 25 points and collected 17 rebounds.

The win against the Essex Rebels keeps Wildcats second in the table a game ahead of Sevenoaks Suns.
