A mixed weekend for Wildcats saw play back to back games against Oakland Wolves and local rivals Leicester Riders; where they saw their unbeaten run come to an end.

Wildcats also moved to 4-0 and they needed to work hard to see off Oakland Wolves 72-63, as Chelsey Shumpert and Jasmine Joyner both showed out. The former had 36 points which is the highest by any player this season, as well as grabbing 10 boards. Joyner also landed a double-double with 20 points and 14 boards

Leicester Riders wrapped up an impressive 89-64 win in the East Midlands derby as they had the pleasure of handing local rivals Nottingham Wildcats a first loss of the season.

Riders were fuelled by the devastating trio of Kate Oliver, Brea Elmore and Sara Hinriksdottir, who all returned more than 20 points plus in the contest.

Zedlakova led the Wildcats with 17 points and 10 rebounds backed up by Joyner’s 12 points and 9 rebounds, even the return of club captain Siobhan Prior wasn’t enough to prevent Wildcats fall short.
